Don't worry though. Lots of people who don't play pool think its easy.

i play both, in the country they were invented. surly my local snooker hall hasn't got it wrong???
No wonder you think pool is easy. pool with snooker balls(especially if they are the sized pockets most places have) would be rather boring.
You say you play pool. Is it just 8 ball you play?
learn to play straight pool and or one pocket. I assure you your views of pool will change.
Tons of strategy involved in one pocket-although it has been known to get a player all out of stroke. It has been called the game of chess on the pool table.
Straight pool really hammers precision pattern play, pocketing balls while breaking out clusters and being able to read a stack. If you ever practice pool on your own straight pool is a great game to use because you can see tangible progress(as in your high run obviously).
Personally I like 9 ball and straight pool much more than 1 hole or 8 ball(if I want to think I will play chess). Unfortunately there are only a few around here who still play straight pool.
I assume you mean stuck behind a ball(as in defense).
I don't know for sure. But, my assumption is that it is when they get to the colored balls in snooker they have to go in order and so when they get stuck behind a ball so they can't see theirs then that is a "snooker".
Of course you know what they say about assumptions- they make an @! out of u and umption
come on! pool is pretty easy. don't try to over complicate it. 9 ball 8 ball, same thing. my as well be playing snap

I might as well be talking to a wall. I inform you of 2 games which u obviously have zero knowledge of and then you mention 9 ball and 8 ball. You just think pool is easy because you have zero understanding.
And you will have to quit using the euro terms. I have no idea what snap is.
funny thing is all the people I ever talked to that call pool or 9ball easy have never run a rack in their life
All I know from watching the snooker video... every time that guy put the black ball in the hole, the other guy kept taking it out... I think I'd find another use for that stick.
