So many good online players don't know how to play chess OTB!

It's just funny to me as I talk from personal experience.

So many players I met A class players completely don't know how to play chess.

One player I met was completely didn't know how to use a clock and asked me if we could play without it , even tho he's an A class player!

Another example people are using different hands , when using a clock, sometimes forget to press button etc.

Also so many times they make an illegal moves and pressing the clock which leads to an automatic loss.

I mean do people even play OTB? How can you play just online all your life isn't it boring? Also I think online chess destroying your chess as you don't press the clock , you can't make an illegal moves, etc..

Your thoughts on it.

Yeah, you are kinda right. But people get to know those rules only when it comes and hits them hard. Otherwise they would not even bother about it.
