I guess that settles that dispute. Now play The Bongcloud against a 1700 player and win. That will prove The Bongcloud is better than the Najdorf.
Good idea.

Not so fast buster! Hold my beer... Black's move 6 ... b5 is seriously premature, and can be considered a positional blunder. It allows Nd5 and white's development gets scary. Good job for spotting it. Blacks next move, Nxe4, is a terrible terrible blunder. A well known theoretical blunder no less. After Qd7, you missed Bxb5! followed by Nc7+ winning the queen and the game. Otherwise, well played overall. You took advantage of an early blunder. The problem with the Najdorf isn't that it's weak, it's that you need to be supremely well versed in the theory due to the sharpness of the position. It's very, very easy to exploit holes in your opponents prep in the Najdorf, which you did.
Time to go beat an 1800 with the bongcloud!
Wow, that early b5 can really kill you in the long run along with taking "free" pawns without developing.

Thanks. I'm pretty much done with the Najdorf and am now deeply immersed in all the Bong Cloud theory.
There's been a lot of discussion lately about whether or not the Najdorf is quite as strong as was once thought. Here's a clinical demolition of it by yours truly, in any case.
