dear friend u r great , its a v helpfull comment...thanks
So you want to get better at Quick

I have one game that i played this opening as white and found the refutation after analyzing my game. the exchange at c4 was the refutation to it and i must salute you for your well handling of knights.Actually your opponent should have exchanged queens and forced and endgame. But you still have the advantage...Congrats...

Thank you. In quick I find that the more closed and complicated you can make a position while keeping your head the better. I was up about 15 seconds on my time in this game, so I wanted the queen trade as it was forced by me.
The thing in quick is 15 seconds is a lifetime.
I'm not sure what opening we played as I was just playing for complication and development.
Thank you for your comment about my knights. I've found that in quick knights are better than bishops (another tip)

Well... its shows. You handle the knights well and as youv'e said you seem to be comfortable in closed. I dont' doubt that you can play the caro-kann well if you happen to use it ( knights play an importnat roleein this opening). And you sure do know how to make a plan. Again thanks for posting the game.
Thanks for the tip about "premoves" I've been trying to become a winner at blitz chess for a long time and I'm always in the market for tips that might help my speed as I lose most of my games because of time pressure. I can't wait to try your method. If anyone else out there has any tips on the best way to save time I'd appreciate hearing from you.
So I've been playing on this site for a couple months now and I was always just average at quick. I think my highest rating spike was like mid-1500's. A lot of my losses came by way of losing on time. Well a couple of days ago I realized there was this thing called "premoves" in your setting panel.
You might be asking yourself. What are premoves? It is a move or moves you play while your opponent is thinking. I found that I could log almost 10 moves in the opening of a game and have zero time click off my clock while my opponent is left thinking why I used to think (how is he moving so fast?). Now mind you there can be dire consequenses if you do to many premoves without thought. However, I now regularly win games with 30 seconds left on my clock in winning or losing positions quite regularly. Here is an example of a game I just played against an opponent rated much higher in Quick (bout 120 points higher) and both games we played he couldn't hang because of my use of "Premoves".
A lot of people new to the site don't know about it so I wanted to even the playing field with all these higher rated Quick players.
