You could have made the choice to block, report, and move on, but instead you chose to make it public.  All its does now is reflect badly on you.

Yeah lets all gang up on the guy on receiving end of homophobic slurs. I really should start sending out homophobic slurs to other members and become friends with all of you. I would probably be a hero to most of you who have replied to this thread so far, if I did that.

However I find homophobia disgusting and I wont stoop to your levels where you at some level try to defend the guy using such language. Shameful.

Look you all could disagree I don't care, the original point (which is the thread title) remains - when people get mad at you for having defeated them at chess it is a joy to read their insults.

If you want to talk about how people are sometimes abusive after a loss without naming names or reproducing offensive content, that's fine, but if it would normally be inappropriate in the forums, it shouldn't be reproduced in the forums even as a quote of someone else.
