Somebody Please Explain This

I played a blitz 3/2 game and got beat on time. Not particularly well played by either side, material was equal but analysis said I was -1.71 at the end. I went and looked at my opponent’s profile because he quickly came up with the correct moves very quickly at the end. His profile showed I had payed him many times before in rapid but those games were against Devon, the computer, which I frequently play. I took a screenshot as this is not the first time this has happened. I went back later and looked at his profile again, the computer games with Devon were gone. I have long suspected I’ve been playing against a non-human, call it what you will. My screenshot of his profile is undeniable.

That was likely a display bug.

What a lame answer. I’ve seen it before. And there are things that happen in my games nobody can explain. I lost a game on time a few months back on time when my opponent made 7 moves in less than a second.

That happens for me too. I think when you look at someone’s previous games, chess thinks you are looking at your games, so it includes your saved boy games
