You played a pretty good game but i guess the main
mistake that u did was not castling for a long time. This can be okay in some cases but as u saw the light-squared diagonal on the queen side was vulnerable and it could have put you into some trouble. Also i dont think that moving ur knight to g8 or moving ur queen back and forth was a good idea

Castlling is a part of developement and you should always try to finish your developement as fast as you can because it lets your pieces be active. If you have a problem protecting your pawns you should probably try to attack your oppennet and give them headaches instead. Because attacking is a lot easier than defending
