I pride myself on being able to play in tight confines. In fact, it's really something all players should be well adept to do.
But I got to thinking. There is another side of the story. Some players just like to grab space in the opening phase of the game, and when your facing an opponent that's grabbing as much space as possible, you have to be aggressive about carving out your own space too.
If your too passive about getting space under your control, you'll end up playing defence most of the game. It's playable to defend in tight quarters, but with space, your likely to be able to counter offense while defending.
