If I have a rock as a mouse I would be beating lama 69420-0 right now, but apparently, I have a gaming mouse, so I will lose 69420 games in a row sadge

Out of 17 games I scored only 1 point more if we're just looking at the 3|1 and 1|1 games. It's the 5|1 where I did really well.

I have chessbase "files" on most openings... whether or not I remember them during games... heh.

But I saw you play the alekhines, so I was sure to review it. I mostly focused on 9...e5

For whatever reason, I've never seen e5 in online blitz. Everyone plays Nc6 or Bf5 there. I don't know why.

I'm pretty sure Nc6 is answered by d5, but I'm not sure what was wrong with Bf5. I'll have to ask Tim Taylor for reference (but I don't actually care lol)

10.g4 is really good. The engine doesn't recommend it at first, but put it on the board, let the engine think a while, then play out the next few moves, and it will suddenly go to around +1.00

10.g4 Bd7 11.Bg2 Nc6 12.d5 the engine thinks is 0.30 at first, but then it realizes

Actually the colle looking thing, I realized near the end I was playing it incorrectly... I'll have to look at my file on it, but I'm pretty sure I was trying a sub-par idea, and those games your attacks were pretty tough on me.

Oh yeah, that game. I messed up and allowed e4, and then I was like screw it, I'll try something crazy...

... but then you played Qg4 really fast, and I had the feeling you knew exactly how to kill this lol (and you did).

I have zero experience in that lol. I felt like I was already worse. I didn't know 3...d5 was fine, so I thought I'll play fast and try to make a mess.

3+1 and 3|0 are really close... it's just the 3|1 lacks what I like to think of as the the last two phases of no increment game (the really fast phase, and the never stop premoving phase)

Maybe better would be something like 3|0 , 1|1 , and 30 second. Those are all different.

I think I've never played 30 second... although when I'm drunk I'll play unrated 1|0 and move as fast as if it's a 15 or 30 second game.

I guess it's better to say... I've never played a 30 second game against someone around my level where I'm actually trying to win.

So a good llama match strategy would be to either go nuts trying to prep something special in the Alekhine, or just play anything else because you'll probably score better with that.
