If you sell it be sure to lock the board before you move it too around too much, especially if you ship it. The lock screw that comes with the board goes back in it but you  have to go to the app to lock the board!

I didn't know that

Im sure if its local and driven around carefully it would be okay, but if you have to mail it Be sure to do it. Not worth risking the board.... i'd actually recommend always doing it.

What is your username on there torrubirubi? I probably have challenged you a thousand times by now and didnt even know it LOL Anyone want to get a game 9 pm CST (2100 hours)

The same as here.  I didn't play yet with humans,  as I do not have the time. For this reason I play Daily Chess. I play against the computer sometimes.

Just because its "daily chess" doesn't mean the games last that long! Most games only last 30 minutes i have played. Some longer some shorter. You are playing a person that's trying to play chess lol

Superchessmachine - Locking the board & screwing in the black screw that came with the board keeps all the internal mechanism from sliding around during the shipping process. It makes the board safe to travel. I am not sure if it will make a huge difference when moving the board from room to room or transporting it by car as long as you keep it flat, but better safe than sorry.

I got an email from square off saying my grand kingdom was ready to ship and they provided a link to pay the balance I owed but when I clicked it it took me to a page that showed my original order and payment of $39 and it ended there--- no way to pay anyone had this issue?  I sent them an email about the issue and they said they would get back to me yesterday. What would be the best way to communicate with them email or that push response they use. I figured the push system had people that really didn't know much.

Have you received an answer from your boss yet? I'm still very interested in buying your Kingdom set.

I’ve almost saved up for this but was hesitant due to the very short warranty. Are you all still happy with your purchase?

Thanks.

I am still happy with my set. I received it back in April (I thimk) and use it almost everyday. Completely happy and everything works perfectly.

Thanks for the reply. I keep checking the website so in actuality the decision is already made. A few weeks and I'll go ahead and get one. Do you recommend the bigger or smaller board?

Avatar of Brioma33

I have the smaller one and love it. I obviously can’t comment on the bigger version, but I’m sure it works great too.

I will ask him at Monday, if I see him. I will let you know.

Johnny, the computer is really great, it works well. It is funny to see how people react to the pieces moving alone on the board.

With the smaller one you have to set the pieces back up by yourself. You do not have to do that with the larger one. If you do not mind setting it back up then I would recommend going with the smaller one. If price does not matter than go with the larger one.

Yes, there are pro and contras. The smaller device fits nicely on the little table where I have also my Novog Robot Adversary. For the larger device I still have to find a place. But yes, if somebody can afford it it should probably go for the larger one, as you can for example also analyze your games with it.

You mean you cannot anyalize games with the smaller one?

I don't think so. I always thought this is one of the plus of the better device.

But I checked the website and did not see this mentioned in the FAQ on the difference between Kingdom Set and Grand Kingdom Set:

-Additional capture space where the opponent's captured pieces are placed automatically at their designated position
-Auto Rest of board after current game is over.
-Comes with Special Edition Premium Rosewood chess set
-Board size is bigger due to additional capture space but play area is same as Kingdom Set

Perhaps somebody else can tell if it is possible to analyse with the Kingdom Set. I will try later.

Thanks for the code! I’m looking at a month before I’ll be ordering.
