Stalemate

If you are attacking your opponent but he somehow tricks you into a stalemate, then he should win. Why? I don't know - my perspective - that's it. Love you all.

For which side?

The weak side.

If you stalemate you're opponent, it is a draw.
Whether this is fair or not is still debated upon.

Some say that it makes endgames and the like more complex.

Wait... Why would it be a win for the side that cannot move?

The reason stalemate is a draw is because checkmate has not been delivered (the winning goal). So it is a draw since the game cannot progress (for the player has to move).

Like I said - I don't know - that's just the way I see it. Still love you all though.

I don't agree for Blitz/Bullet games, but it is an interesting idea maybe for Rapid/Classical Games
