Stalemate was invented by a loser

I completely disagree with you. Such a lame statement. Good luck changing the rules

VerifiedChessYarshe

Whoever invented Stalemate is probably a person who lost a huge beef and wanted to have a draw, then invented this rule for the game.

With who?
Sanjay?
I haven't said I want any rules changed.
There are people who even complain bitterly about touch move rules in live chess.
The apparent psychology: 'Let Everything bother you.'

Thanks for clearing that one up KOB.
I'll add - stalemate isn't going to go away.
What rule if any is going to change?
There's a very clear answer:
Online chess has promoted the development of many chess variants.
With obvious rule changes.
Maybe - eventually - they'll have a really Cool new 3-d chess.
That can be played with cheap small devices that make the necessary holograms.
And you've got a mouse or buttons you can click inside the 3d holograms!

You abused some stupid rule written by a loser with a losers mindset to get a draw in a lost position.

Let's see what games caused this rant, because it's funny:

Surely this was a good lesson, our hero will be mindful of stalemate in the future!

You are showing me these mindless 200s games that they can accidentally do almost everything an example?

Jenium

When I read the op ranting about losers, I expected him/her to be a very strong player, so I looked up his/her rating. Surprise.

I just got a red banner.
I typed a no-word inside a post and hit the enter button and wham!
In another forum.
Those red banners apparently stay.
Or for a while.
Go over a certain number and the robo-censor nails whoever.

VerifiedChessYarshe

Stalemate means a player is stuck and can't move but is not in check. Because the king can't move, the king offers a draw to the enemy and somehow it is classified as a draw. So stalemate is just an unconditional draw.
