stats in new chess.com site

Hi, I'm interested in seeing how my game is progressing and although I think I understand the stats can someone point me to (or offer) an explanation as to what they mean?  I'm looking at leaderboard, percentile and friends. Any help appreciated. Thanks to all members - except the dis-connectors, you know who you are!!

percentile is a good measure of improvement because it's relatively independent of any tweaks to ratings done by C.c. Your blitz rating is 91 percentile.. meaning you're better than 91% of C.c members at blitz. That's pretty good!

Thanks blastforme, I sort of hoped that was what it meant. I stopped playing longer games a couple of years ago when I kept getting notifications saying a computer was being used. Is it still the same or has the pointless cheating gone away?

I don't know.. I've never suspected an opponent of mine, and I do post game analysis of every long game I play. But my ratings are low. 70-90 percentile might be pretty good, but someone using a computer should play extraordinarily well, wouldn't you say? Maybe people at master levels are affected by this (I'm guessing that's about 99th percentile?), but it's funny that they don't seem to me to be the ones complaining about it.

I was on chess.net (I think) and the site kept opening up warnings in a window. It wasn't me using a computer, to me that would be an utter waste of time. Like most I play for fun.
