What's the difference to you? Where does each engine 'shine'? What makes each one unique?

Komodo is the strongest.

Stockfish is a weaker version of Komodo.

Houdini seems better then others at closed positions.

You did not mention Fire, which is very good at drawing worse positions and as black.

Why do you say Stockfish is aweaker version? Care to explain? 

Also, how exactly is Houdini better at closed positions?

Remember that Houdini 4 Pro haven't been updated in 19 months.
