My understanding is that both chess.com and lichess use Stockfish as it engine for the purpose of analysis. Sometimes I'll put the same position into both chess.com and lichess for analysis and I'm puzzled as to why they sometimes disagree on which are the best moves. I don't understand how the same chess engine can come to different answers for the same position. Of course, I'm talking about when they analysis to the same depth. Also, it seems that chess.com analysis gets to a deeper depth faster.
