Don't understand the problem with no wanting rematches. There are a million reasons why I would not want a rematch either if I win or I lose. The main one being I don't need to.
About time drains, I also don't agree with people that let run the clock once they are in a lost position. But people taking time to make a move in the opening is reasonable. If you agree to a certain time constraint it makes sense they can chose the time in good faith to think through their next move
Understand the bigger picture we are here for chess greatness, that will benefit us all.
I agree with @MiguelUAB . I don't see how @E9toE8 has made a valid point with the no rematch. There are many reasons why a guy might not want a rematch - 1. he wants to rest, 2.He doesn't like playing with the same guy (If you have ever went to a otb tournament you would know the pain of getting paired with a guy who destroyed you in a previous game) 3.He wants to play a different time control and whatnot. And if you don't want your time to be wasted then why are you playing rapid in the first place.

You are asking people to accept rematches and don't take minutes to make a opening move and we are giving reasons why it is not that way. What point are we missing here?
So many no rematches. And too many people literally spending 3 to 4 mins on a opening move.
By no means am I a good player, but we are responsible for improving the chess brand. I mean just do the best moves you can then go back and analyze. I meet so many good players but good grief I dislike the 1 min left and you have no move so u just let the clock run out. C'mon ya'll it's a game.
Your contributing to chess being a sucky online choice. Look how much the site works to improve and show there is something here. So c'mon.
When I am about to quit and it takes time its just to speak with my challenger tell him its a good game and what not. And do your rematches. if your any good a loss will be compensated by later victories.
C'mon we are building towards something here.
