Stronger players please guide to improve rating from 1500 Fide to 1800

I want to understand the difference between a 1500 and 1800 Fide rated considering it to be my next goal in chess. Currently I feel I have no understanding of pawn structures like if pieces get exchanged then how to proceed ideally, proper strategy and calculations and I must learn it. I really need advice from stronger players how I proceed with learning and improving my chess. What can be a good resource like books or video courses also I don't have many players in my area for over the board practise.
