Stuck at 1000 ELO, help!!!

This might be one of my first big plateaus, and I'm struggling. I never dreamed of reaching 1000, and now it seems like I can't reach past 1030.

Just play ngl at your level there isn’t much to learn that will help yet since you know basic stuff but aren’t ready for advanced concepts. Just do the checklist every move no matter what.

Learn a new opening. If you don't play the Vienna, definitely learn it, especially the gambit which I think most people at 1000 level will accept.

You're not stuck. You got to 1K like two days ago. In fact, your profile reads you've been on an almost 300-rating-point winning streak.

Play. Review. Watch. Puzzle. Read. Repeat ad infinitum.

i been playing for 5 years and i am not improving greatly im at ~1189

i play more on lichess tho

just listen to Xslide while playing

Learn exactly how to think in the opening, middlegame and endgame — this is what I teach.
Always blunder-check your moves.
Solve tactics in the right way.
Analyze your games.
Study games of strong players.
Learn how to be more psychologically resilient.
Work on your time management skills.
Get a coach if you can.
