The rating system this site uses is really stupid. I entered a thematic tournament to improve my skill in a particular line and was matched up with a low rated player. That player was intimidated, apparently, by my rating so he quit without making a move so I won and because his rating was so much lower than mine I lost more than 100 rating points. How does that figure?
