I am also an 1800 player too. I noticed that I am an attacking player. I also love to attack with the queen. I think it is also fun to attack with your pawns to break into your opponent's position.
I like bishops alot. My favorite strategy is to place the bishops in the opening on spots that point towards the enemy king's castled position. This is why im probably reated 1200.
My style mostly involves a lot of losses and a few good games in between
I like to trade knights for bishops which is weird because the knight is my favorite piece on the board.

I was just glancing through all my games in progress at the moment and realized that there is an amazing similarity throughout all of them... in all my games I use my queen very actively (no, not playing for scholars mate, I'm an 1800 player)...
My queen doesn't move often, but I've noticed that in each game I do my best to put my queen on it's best possible square and then go about advancing my knights and other pieces...
Any interesting similarities throughout your games?
