Sudden Improvement Question

I've always been like a 1000-1200 blitz only player with a peak of maybe like a bit over 1200. But recently I started playing much better and got to 1300. so i decided to try out rapid to see if i could get to 1300, and within less than 2 weeks i got to 1500 winning like 70% of games and still beating everyone. I am very excited obviously and not trying to brag, but I simply don't understand how i improved so much out of nowhere. Is this normal at all? essentially improving by 300 points in less than one month with potentially more room to move up?

It's extremely abnormal and you should see a doctor. Immediately.

Going to the proctologist immediately, thank you

I would sum it up to 3 probable reasons. First is you probably felt good about yourself. What happens during a day and how a player feels about it can affect their play positively or negatively. Players in a good mood tend to focus better and fight harder, even in losing positions. Second is the opponents you got may have been much worse than you, despite having about the same rating. Chess.com ratings aren't an accurate way of telling how truly good a player is, so you will face players much better or much worse than you sometimes. Third is you got momentum from winning games. Winning streaks tend to empower players and give them more confidence in their abilities, helping them win even more games.
