It's stupid to suggest something like that. Many times beginners play and they want to see how the game ends. If even one feels that the position has value for him you owe to respect it.
But who is stopping you from sending a message to the other group's administrator?
Maybe I deserve to be somewhat chastised. You make, now that I think more about it, a good point about beginners wanting to learn about the winning process. I`ve encountered that situation in USCF OTB and individual correspondence games in which I was the much higher ranked player. Nevertheless, how would you feel if you were on a vote Chess team and your opponents who were terribly losing to you kept on playing and they were higher ranked than you and your team? Would you not feel a bit frustrated? Maybe the losing team needs to show the lesser rated members why it is really futile to keep on playing. If that`s the case, I`ll accept that. Being that I am not an administrator, I feel that it is not my place to speak for the group.
Does Chess.com allow a team in Vote Chess to suggest to their opponent that if they do not resign in a hopelessly lost position, they will never be given the opportunity to play a rematch?
