Both are easy to read, to me at least. Dark mode is not great with certain backgrounds, but many of them work perfectly fine.

1. I wear glasses and I take medical eye drops so my eyesight remains 3:25, and 3:50.
2. When I take medical eye drops, my eyes don't adjust to the light, so therefore I need dark glasses.
3. I use dark mode so my eyes don't hurt.
4. It's pretty normal for your eyes to hurt.

No one is gonna remove light mode because you have an eye problem (sorry, hope you get well soon). Some people like light mode so dont make life worse for them. It doesnt affect you if a simple option to switch is there. So just hush
