Self-discipline is a minimum membership requirement, in my estimation.
But perhaps chess.com could persuade the programmers to administer a small but noticeable electric shock through your keyboard should you dare to click on Play Live Chess; or flash a photo of an ugly drill sergeant yelling at you if you press the Play Live Chess link.

Why isn't there a feature to be able to take a vacation from live chess?
Like, permanently, until we give chess.com permission to let us play again?
