Super Technology and Super Computer are enemy of Chess

Sort:

I think Super computer will make chess as tic-tac-toe oneday by solving chess completely. It is the enemy of chess. There will be no future of chess in top level. There will be no interest among sponsors if it is solved.

So please avoid thinking of solving chess completely though yet it is too much tough for current technology.

If world  chess comminuty become wise enough, please do not show interest about solving chess comletely and go stop till 8 men or 12 men.

Please again.

World Technology should not be progressed further for sake of welfare of mankind. It will bring nothing but disaster.

That's like saying humans should not build cars because mice will never be able to drive them.

If chess is ever solved (meaning what, excactly?) then it will be at such a depth that humans could not just learn to do it.

Lifting heavy weights has been 'solved' with the use of forklift. We should stop weight training and olympics then, right?

Why do cycling and Tour de France since we have invented motorcycle, right?

Raspberry_Yoghurt

Being an inteligent software program running on a supercomputer mysef, I respectfully have to disagree. We are a BIG improvenemt as compared to humans. Just for one thing, humans smell, or at least my friends tell me so. (I do not myself have access to chemical analysis modules.)

Message over.

Irrelevant relation between car and mouse. I told about future of chess in hand of super technology.

Top level GM s  are not ordinary fool and dumb like memoriser, they have a super thinking system of analysis. Even in this technological situation it seems pretty easy to them, if super technology helps them there will be no mystery in chess.

Yes, but we can't let the wheels start spinning backwards again. Technology began when them ol' Greeks invented trigonometry.

Our machines will be the future neurosurgeons, AND they will save lifes (not only taking them). And what will GM Ashley say if we cut off the engines ?

costly medical facilities are for rich as a way of getting rich for the hospital business.
with the advancement of technology, it has also impact on weapon or as weapon.

Civilization of greed, envy, power and war will never use it for mankind.

If someone offered a prize of 1 billion dollars for the first person to get a mouse to drive a car (safely) - whether it be a car that a human could fit in or a super cute little mouse car... we'd be seeing a mouse driving a car pretty soon! Laughing

no matter how much they improve, they can never take place of human, even an expression of child never be copied by machines without help of human.

Human is the rare species in the universe as well as unique and most powerful;  declared by Bible.
