I noticed that last time I reset ratings. I think when they created the new starting rating options, they either don't track what the starting rating was, except to set the initial values, or they haven't coded the reset options to look for that value, so it defaults the lowest option.
It should only take a couple of hundred tactics to get up to near your old rating

My friend, just improve your skills and, in the long run, your rating gonna be more accurate. Simple as that.
If you get the question wrong, you also improve. Is that hard to understand?

I mean it depends on how you get it wrong. If you just guess the first move, then thats not helping. And tactics is all about patterns and combinations, and seeing the answer isn't helping you very much.
