What are some tips to get better at tactics. Sometimes when doing them I don't see any moves that seem intuitive to me and I am not always sure what to play.

My obvious recommendation is: spend more time in each problem.

Learn what some basic tactics are such as pins, skewers, forks, deflections etc........ being able to find what kind of tactic it is should help narrow down what the best move is, and it will help you form ideas in real games.

I guess I have moved up over the last few days.

Use tactics trainer on this Web site. I like the advice of spending more time on each problem. Also, you might consider getting a chess coach who is willing to listen to what specifically you are thinking about when you are trying to solve problems, but of course that costs money. Or buy a book on tactics that is topically organized.
