the good idea after winning the puzzle is to make another puzzle. it is kind of addictive in itself. while playing against the computer is no fun, at least in my case, if you train puzzles long enough, the solutions come to you naturally when you play regular games. some practice is needed though to stay alert for both your own opportunities and the other side tactical threats. have fun.
tactics puzzle wins?

Norge44, Â I appreciate the encouragement, and the note that I have to train with puzzles "long enough" to see the improvement. I will not make a habit of playing the computer; the puzzles themselves are def addictive!! Already!! thanks again.Â
I'm playing lots of tactics puzzles on the trainer. After I win some I try to play against the computer, the one in the tactics trainer. I rarely win the game against the computer. Are you supposed to be able to win the game once you've succeeded in the tactic? How strong is the chess.com computer in the trainer. (btw I'm not very strong at all, probably about 900...).Â
Does anyone have any thoughts about whether its a good idea or not to play the computer in the trainer after winning a puzzle?
