Take your go or RESIGN

Does it ever annoy players when your opponent takes their go as normal (we're talking blitz/standard games here), but then as soon as they're about to lose, deliberately take 10x as long to take their moves just to waste your time, as they've not exactly got much to think about. It's inevitable, unfortunately you're going to lose, so please take your go, or resign.

Well, you may not know if it's inevitable until you think long.

I'm talking about when they literally have no chance of winning.

Is annoying, and although I'm sorry for your loss, I admire your resigning as a gentleman.  Testing my basic checkmating skills may be acceptable in a tourny or match play, but otherwise, when the writing is on the wall, stop kneeling and praying for a stupid little clock win by just annoying moves.

You were definitely going to win, you played the better game. No point in wasting your time about it.

I suppose that is true. The booze definitely comes before the trophies!
