its quarantine nobody's here to tease you
Teasing
very rarely, says more about them, don't rise to it. Maybe hit them with a gg then leave. or maybe even a gg thanks for the game, that'll really annoy them.

So how many people get teased when they loose a game of chess?
Depends on what "teasing" means here.
"Good game, you are just a little better than me? " = They are just friendly
"You aren't any good...but you still beat me...Baka! = They are teasing because they like you (and may or may not watch too much anime; I say "may" because there is a slim chance they are a Japanese Tsundere).
"Weak", "You stink at chess" [or anything insulting] = They are just a jerk and you should rate them a "poor sport" via the thumbs down and/or report them to chess.com

They might say: "Aww, you are too..."
But usually trollers with mean language and attitudes after the game aren't quick-witted to turn something around in a happy manner.

I always say good game wether I win or lose, staying sportsman is important.
This was the only tease I ever got on this site:
He then proceeded to make the worst mistakes ever and even gave me his queen for free...

In other words you are a snitch. The only time I will ever use the report feature is if I feel strongly that my opponent used an engine.

Keep in mind that this is the same guy who said that it was disrespectful for a 13 year old to ask on the forums for help with his parents forcing the kid to not resign.
So yeah.

Some of the best friendships i ever ended up having came out of fist fights. Now....? Everyone gets their feelings hurt over the slightest things. Times dont change, people do.

Context is everything; good observation.

I don't report everyone I come across who is negative, but I don't think "snitch" is the correct term. I am simply trying to keep chess.com a nice place for everyone and the atmosphere is better without members negative like this. If their account gets paired into the "poor sport" category, then they will play other "poor sports" more often, so really it is a win-win scenario.
No hard feelings really. I'm happy because I don't have to deal with them and they are happy because they are playing chess with people of similar temperament who also share their own values.
