I had a day off today, so I decided to invest my time in chess and try new openings. I didn't know, however, that after 20 games or so I would eventually come up with a whole new idea. I asked myself, "why not attack with the king? No one would expect it." And lo and behold, ladies and gents, the Attacking King Opening!
Of course, I had a few beers and some leftover wine from last night before I logged in, but who cares? That's how I play my blitz. Great ideas don't come to you when you're sober, do they?
If you're planning to defeat grandamasters anytime soon, this is the way to go. I might consider writing a book on it.
