I live in the US as a citizen but was born and raised in England. Want to know the actual difference between the US and Great Britain? You all drive on the other side of the road, You get more vacation and workers rights and you get fireworks on November 5th instead of July 4th. Really that’s it.
I will add that I feel Americans are far more patriotic than British people but that’s only my experience.

There are more differences between Canadians and Americans than most people typically acknowledge. Although, the Trump era has brought more awareness to some of our differences. I mention Canada because I would argue we have more in common with England than the US does.
