The best app to improve your tactics

I’ve been searching for a good tactics app for a while, and I finally came across one that really impressed me: Chess Puzzles & Tactics Master in AppStore (weird name though).

What stood out is that it doesn’t just mark your move as “right” or “wrong” — it actually shows the engine line that refutes your mistake. That’s exactly the kind of feedback I always wanted when practicing puzzles.

Some highlights I’ve noticed so far: huge database – over 5 million real-game puzzles, thematic training – you can focus on 64 tactical motifs, favorites & history.

It also adapted to my level really quickly and started giving me some pretty tough puzzles. Must be using some smart algorithms. And the best part: it’s completely free. Honestly, this might be the coolest chess puzzles training app I’ve tried so far.
