I don’t really mind what type of checkmate is considered best: as long as I do get a checkmate I’m happy.
This cost 60 moves, probably not the best checkmate but it gives durability and ultra boost to openings, middle games and endgames that use other parts of the base and the pieces.

not a smothered, not a M7-8 just bam.. in the face.. deathkiss, put your queen on the face of enemy king.. protect it from miles away with a bishop.
it would be cool if your opponent played a move that forced you to checkmate them on your next move
