The computer dissed me!

I was playing the hard computer yeterday (2000+), and it aborted my game. Did it dislike the opening I chose? Was it disgusted by my pedestrian play? I could understand a disconnect, but I thought players had to choose the abort option. Are the chess.com computers acquiring self awareness?

It might improve your play if there were an abuse mode - just have the computer make random snarky comments while its your turn - shouldn't be too hard to program.  A lot of video game characters taunt you when they're winning don't they.

Good suggestion. I hope Eric's listening.

If you wait too long at the start of a live chess match with the computers, they just abort the game so they can start another live match.

chess boy, the computer is playing several games at a time. It's not just one computer, it's the same database though.
