You only mention blitz ratings, you don't like longer games? Maybe your studies will pay off more when you have more time to think?
The conspiracy against me

And for those who comment "forget about the rating and just play" I do tend to agree with you for the most part, except for this: after 10 years of study I would like some confirmation that my efforts have not been in vain. The only way to judge whether or not I've been improving is by rating points... therefore I'm a litttle concerned.
Well, a widespread conspiracy specifically targeting you is the most plausible explanation....

"Like dogs who sniff each other when meeting, chess players have a ritual at first acquaintance: they sit down to play speed chess." - Anatoly Karpov
"I play way too much blitz chess. It rots the brain just as surely as alcohol." - Nigel Short

Your stats page tells the whole story:
IIn the past year, 1,873 blitz games, 961 bullet games, 0 standard games, 0 turn-based games, an average or 1 hour/month on the tactics trainer, 2 chess mentors per month average.
You do not improve at blitz because you spend all of your time playing blitz. Either that, or I was serious about the conspiracy.
(So do I but I don't care if I improve. I play to have fun.)

Not sure how much of this is a joke or not. I've seen a lot of Class A players spend a lot of time on chess and make little progress over the span of 10 years. If you want to break a plateau, often you have to make a drastic change to break bad habits that are holding you back. One solution is to find a good chess coach that will have the objectivity to find a good plan to break damaging trends in your gameplay. A big problem with some players is that they have formed a strong sense of identity in the way they play chess and that can be a hindrance to change. If you can't accept that you may have a flawed approach to chess study, this is a major strike against you. Even grandmasters sometimes have to make changes to reach the next level. Remember that objectivity in evaluation is an important skill to develop in chess.
Or just ignore everything I wrote and check for wires and stuff. Topalov might have some good tips. Good luck!

Time to suicide. You've just thrown 10 years of your life to waste. Have you ever heard that overthinking about something makes you stupid?
Anyway, back on topic let's make it simplier for me, for you and to whoever reads this post :
Show us a game of yours that you THINK was played by a cheater.

10 years? you could have taken up flashing girls at the local park in your trenchcoat, gone to jail for it and be out now and still the same level at chess. what a waste.

Maybe your mind isn't made for blitz play. Ever try longer time limit chess? Online? Where you can take your time and actually think about moves. Make a plan and try to execute it? Give it a try....

Bahahahahahahahaahahahahahaahahaha.....(pause).......aaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Ya every other chess player that you have played is involved in a worldwide conspiracy to keep your chess rating low. Magnus Carlsen has told them to do it because he thinks that you are too good at chess and he fears you.
P.S. Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Nicholas
I have been working with thousands of chess professionals for several years on this conspiracy. We have taken alternate identities and sandbagged our ratings so that we are all near your rating level. We are all good enough to toy with you, and since you have never played ANYONE outside of my organization, we have been able to keep your rating artificially low.
Since you have come to understand the nature of the conspiracy, we have decided to stop messing with your head. (...)
To be fair, I sent him a subliminal message. He is no smarter than the others.
Now give me the henchman pay for August or I tell him your real identity too.

I'm here to offer my services for assisted suicide. What type of weapon do you prefer?? I'll be over in a few hrs. I hope Jimmykay doesn't start messin with my head. I've got enough voices in there

Just dropping in here to offer a few words. Lots of people are finding this thread very amusing, and if it is some sort of attempt at humor then; well played.
But, if these thoughts and theories are real and reasonable to you, then you might be experiencing a manic or psychotic episode which could be symptoms of a mental illness and I would strongly advice you to talk to your doctor about them.
And for those who comment "forget about the rating and just play" I do tend to agree with you for the most part, except for this: after 10 years of study I would like some confirmation that my efforts have not been in vain. The only way to judge whether or not I've been improving is by rating points... therefore I'm a litttle concerned.
