If I were black, I would prefer 16...Qe8 variation. Looks like a winning endgame to me. Although the endgame would also be very complicated indeed. Black can't keep the -2 pawns advantage he has. But he looks better than white to me.
Also 16...fxe5 variation looks the most interesting. 18...hxg6. 19.Qg5 Bb7. Queen and bishop versus two rooks and opposite bishop endgame. Now I wouldn't want to play that endgame from either side, but I'd most definitely like to know how it goes. I think black is better, but I can't decide how much and what should be his endgame strategy.
