I think there's a movie called Knight Moves which is a detective movie. The name comes from a famous game of chess where the player, I think, resigned when he had mate by moving his knights around, in a world championship.

Yes, old Frank was a marshall and he was a notorious swindler who contributed much to opening theory.
But it's hard to believe he finished ahead of Lasker and Pillsbury in a tournament!
