That's a different variation. You left out Nf6 Bg5 xg5 for example.

Lorgish

Evan's Gambit is quite fun to play.

This is not the same variation, Qf6 at this point doesn't make any sense.

Your analysis is quite funny :

- 6...Bb6 as a note, really?

- 10.Rg1 Qxf2, thanks for this relevant variation! lol

- Why not 10...Qxf1 11.Kxf1 Bxd1 with a complicated position?

Someone tried Nh4 idea against me in the variation i gave but it was just terrible :

I think that going 5.h6 instead of 5.d6 is better

I have something for you :

What if 9.Nh4?

9.Nh4 is an interesting try indeed and a good move.

A game where white castled but this was a very bad idea (12.Qd2 or 12.Qf3 were better with probably advantage for white, thought black has some compensations). :

That 15.Kg2 doesn't look good at all. But it looks like a hard position for white, the engine says black is wining if white doesn't go 15.Qa5+ then it's a draw lol I would chose black for sure anyway.

I don't know which engine u use but mine tells that white is lost after 13.Qe1, and 12.0-0 was a mistake, giving black a big attack.

Be careful with engine's eval : after some seconds, mine (stockfish 6 ) assesses as 0.00 even after Qe1 but after 30 seconds finds it is lost...

Qd2 was better than Qe1, avoiding Qg5 at some point. On Qd2, best for black is Kd7 followed by Rxa8 with great compensations and probably an edge (13.Qd2 Kd7 14.c3 to avoid Nd4, 14...Rxa8) or at least all the fun.

While 12.Qd2/Qf3 may lead to advantage for white but as i said, black has some compensations.

I don't know if this line with Qg6 is so good, but I just gave a spicy idea which is surprising and rather crushing in practical play.

I used stockfish 9+ on chrome, I don't know if I can post the link here as it's of another chess website.

To be honest I don't care what the engines says in complex lines like this one, for me Qg6 looks like a really good move even if white finds Nh4 wich is a really hard move to find as you have to see that black has a big attack coming on the kingside and you have to sac the knight to take the rook and delay the attack.

Chess.com analysis says that Bf3 is a mistake but the other engine says it's the best move. Btw you are right, now the engine says that after Qe1 white is completely lost and after Bf3 gxf3 Nd4 black is at +3.2. I don't know why the last time I analized it, it told that white could force a draw.
