The lag and pre moves

Is it time the pre move thing was scrapped, now for every 0.1 pre move made by the opponent it takes extra time to make the next move in reply to the 0.1 pre move how is this a fair game where is the sporting integrity if all a bullet player needs to do for the last 10 seconds is make pre moves when in a losing position and under time pressure is make pre moves to win, it's an unfair advantage, chess. Com does not run fast enough for pre moves to be a thing, players are just exploiting this flaw of the site

Premoves work as expected unless you're experiencing high amounts of lag or getting disconnects. The site allows/forgives some lag over a series of moves.

I don't believe pre-moves work as expected and bullet games are often decided by lag. I have often lost a game and thought how did I lose 8x the time when we were moving evenly, on analysis I don't think it was because they suddenly became a better or quicker player, I think lag just got built into the system and the time was all allocated to me, I was on catch up. Equally I have known I'm on a winning run as time must be in my favour, probably a great sever or something. In these times I try to play on and see my rating increase unusually,,, *does not happen often enough. I would like to see chess.com figure out lag and allocate time evenly, there is definitely an issue even if my blah above is not scientific, it is real.
