The loss streaks I experience are statistically unexplainable.

Ratings for rapid and blitz are highly variable. I think of a rating at these time controls online as being +/- 100. So when you are at your “peak” rating, you may actually be about 100 points higher than your actual skill level. So it is normal to drop 100 points to get to your actual level, and them another 100 points to be within the error range.

And ratings for bullet are even more variable.

Dont worry about it. In the last 8 months, I have dropped from 200-250 points at least four or five times, and then regained them.

Focus on your skill level, not your rating. If you are so concerned about your rating, try playing OTB at classical time controls. Once you have played enough games, you will have a rating that is stable and accurate.
