So, I was checking out this book called "How to play chess endgames" on the internet, and I saw that its price is close to being ridiculous. You can only get it new if you pay 220 + dollars, and it even goes as high as to 900 euros in some sites.

Apparently, the book has been sold out for a number of years now, but would that suffice to explain such a staggering price?

Makes sense though right?

If it's nearly impossible to get a copy, the sellers can name their price.

Sure, supply and demand; it just surprises me that there is actually a demand on them good enough to justify those prices

It definetly is time for the publisher to think about printing 2nd edition. One can get it as Kindle or Gambit Studio version.
