Hi Tomo Nick here.
I've taken a look and before i go any further, i can't see an example of pieces moving to music. Is that right?

I really like your idea and it could make a lot of possibilities for musicians as much for chessers hahahaa

hey!
it's the other way around it is music that is being produced from the movement and interplay of the pieces on the chessboard, not the pieces being influenced by music.

thanks! but do you see anything missing?

Hi. I know that . I meant, can we see and hear an example of the two simultaneously?

ah! well not really. I've been thinking of making a video, it'd be much easier for "getting it", but it's not yet there. there's a file there though in the folder, with the "score" that corresponds with the mp3. oh well...

It sounds like, i mean feels like a lovely idea . Once the video's done, i'd really like to see it and think you will have a lot more response from others also.
Dear people of chess!
My name is Tomo, I'm a musician & composer (www.tomojacobson.com), and I'm writing to ask you a favour, to look into my new project that will soon be released.
A few years ago I was deeply into chess. I have never been that good, but I was totally amazed by how the game works, and could not stop playing. During that time I tried to connect my old passion - music - with my new passion - chess - and what came out was a system allowing for translating chess games into piano pieces. The system was put on the side for a few years, but now I have a strong feeling that I should come back to it and release it as a book (the system) with CD (an example of the the chess game translated into a piano piece using the system).
Being not-such-a-great player myself, I feel I can only benefit from turning to the chess.com community (you) and bounce the system off of you to hear your opinions and ask if there're any omissions or mistakes in the chess rules laid out by me.
So would you be so kind and take a look at the draft of the system? There's also a mp3 file with the system in action. You'll find it all at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qp031lfh3kdgpha/AACuJXJemvwHNbyLVIQTXf2ia?dl=0.
Oh, and don't mind the writing style, I need to rewrite most of it. I just need to know if it makes sense to you - chess players, and if I didn't forget anything, or didn't make any blunders...
So yeah, you're invited for the totally unique opportunity to look into my creative process before the thing is actually released!
I thank you deeply for your time and attention and please have a great day.
All the best
Tomo Jacobson
