I'll even break it down further to the opening, middlegame, and endgame.
Hopefully consisting of the following:
Opening- Best opening try at an advantage for white. Highly contraversal and probably the least interesting of the three.
Middlegame- Considered the most instructive or accurate. Best example of technique or an example of interesting nuances being exploited.
Endgame- Favorite endgame.
