The Whining And Complaining Of The Chess Community Is Really Baffling To Me

I feel like most chess players are a bunch of whining crybabies always complaining about just about everything, from losing to cheating, to drama, and so on. Personally, I often struggle to comprehend the mentality of some players over a board game, especially when other chess players continue to act like crybabies that give me a headache metaphorically and literally of course.

why tho? its reasonable to argue when you lost to someone on rogue grounds like them cheating or drama ( idk what drama you mean. personally i never dove into the chess community, i know there a Hikaru, a Magnus, a Gukesh , the end)
other then that most of them argue ( the ones i've seen ) normal things i guess, its the cost of being remotely close to a community, dealing them, if you can give me more base for your argument i could understand better, bye.

#5. It's the childish whining and being a sore loser. Also the accusations of cheating at chess without any physical evidence just for a win.

in that case, ya your right, this mostly i see from the >500 section can't lie. loss is loss, they should move on more, so ya i agree with you.
accusation of cheating at chess i guess could be given if someone got a perfect game ( 98.0 % +) but ya most people do do it in hopes of turning there loss into a win through the chess team support.
your not wrong but your words sound a bit more for a smaller category and a bit too harsh, but ya.

#7. My apologies if I sound rude but at the same time I really need to be honest on this topic.

not wrong, this community does need some straitening out , like theres a forum that just say " you suck at chess " and just says you should "accept it", so can't lie i'm with you for the whole whining thing.

Same as any community, apparently. There isn't a single archetype for a chess player so you're going to get all kinds of people in this community and some of them will bring drama. I think the best you can do is follow the types of chess players you enjoy. I suggest watching Anna Cramling to combat the negative vibes with something wholesome.

Anna is great if you don't mind that she seems to talk to everyone like they are in kindergarten.
