A thought just occured to me. Why doesn't the Olympaids allow for a country to have their players play simulataneously?
Seeing how Carlsen is toying with the 2600s, I believe Carlsen could take on the whole Turkish team solo. I know Kasparov used to play the whole German national team - and win.
It doesn't have to be 4 boards, maybe Carlsen could handle 2 boards. I think they (Norway) would achieve much better results if Carlsen could play simultaneous.
