According to some grandmasters, there are three different types of chess players......
1)calculative
2) positional
3) interrmediate.
in the first category, as the word suggests, these people are basically more or less
strong in calculations of the moves.
in the 2nd group these people dont calculate too many steps , they just notice the patterns of their position and will guess their upcoming moves. these people have lots of experience and need good analysis of the existing position.
the 3rd group are inbetween them .
now u chose , in which category do u fall , and empoy your idea accordingly.
we need not calculate too many steps . We need to know the various principles of chess and their correct order of play .
