This Game....

As I am sure it is obvious, I am an average player who has been with Chess.com on and off for roughly 4 years or so. My ranking for online Chess is 1070. Sometimes I play much worse than someone who is ranked 1070 and sometimes, just now and then, I play like much better ....  much much better. That is why I always come back, looking to play that one killer game - The  Check-Mate that wasn't expected, the one I noticed out of the corner of my eye shortly before almost making a bad decision. Now seriously, I am not that good at this game, and really don't have tons of time to devote to learning much beyond the basics, but there isn't much more that I enjoy as much as sitting down to a good game with soemone who loves the game as much as I do. I try to play with common sense and try to look at the entire board evenly. It's a mental chellegne....If they are a lot better than me, then I will probably lose, but think about this ....... How many other places in the world can you sit down and play a Grand Master? That is why I am here!  Sometimes I'll play a game late at night and begin to fall apart - I'll lose and my ranking goes down.....I DON'T CARE !!! I  love playing this game in a like minded community, with incredible reseources to help my game, as well as tons of people ready to play at any given time. You guys out there feel the same??????
