LOL that is the most ridiculous rule i have ever heard of. Mind = blown. Always assumed a stalemate was when neither side could win.

How ridiculous.

black's move, king not in check and unable to move to any of the 7 available squares without being in check. black pawn cannot move either.  stalemate.

Yeah white has Qe4, Nd3, Qd6, Qc7 which are all mate in one.

Even Qxf3 is an improvement.
