Last thing, for the love of god stop being so patronizing. Most understand what you're saying, we just agree that it's annoying and unnecessary. So don't act like you're the smartest one in the room making literary attacks beyond our observation level.

i'm going to disagree with you on that one. it is patently obvious from a myriad of responses that most dont understand what im saying. and i dont recall ever making a literary attack on anyone. could you provide an example?

The only one who appears to have responded without understanding the topic fully is porcy. Hornet is trolling you (he does that), and ninja and Orca responded in perfectly clear comments that I was abe to understand easily, and your nitpicks on them were more of a mark on your lack of attentiveness then their lack of clarity imo. And you've been verbally attacking Martin this while time. (calling him slow, a lapdog, etc.)

but you said i was making a literary attack on people. give me an example of that, please.

I never specified who you gave the literary attacks to, only that you gave them, which means all I need is multiple example of verbal attacks on anyone to be correct. Next time read better!

In this context considering that we're communicating online verbal and literary are essentially the same thing.

that's the issue with slow people. they don't realize their deficiencies. tell me, martin, why do you think the bus you took to school was so short?

I didn't take very many busses to school but not a one of them was short wink

I have plenty of deficiencies and I'm well aware of the ones I do have. Lucky one of my deficiencies isn't being thinned skinned or worrying about what random people think of me.

dude. buy yourself a dictionary. you couldnt possibly be more wrong.

Do you have even one iota of knowledge of my immense linguistic power? Do you possess even one Planck-length fragment of information as to my true potential in this lexicon? Are you in any conceivable way knowledgable of the might I wield and can unleash at my whim upon all who oppose me on the battlefield of literature? How dare you even suggest that I am in any way, shape, or form comparable to this generation's decline in literary prowess? There are still young minds such as myself capable of molding this language and making it bend to their will. Your statement, if not completely ignorant, is at the very least pompous, and I am afraid that while your point has shreds of validity, it certainly is not applicable in this context. Therefore, I suggest you yield as I am more than willing to bring down more thunderous linguistic avalanches to support my point. I hold no real animosity against you, I am merely offended that you equate my dialectical skills to some peasants whom some might argue are a scourge to this lexicon. Please take your literary criticisms elsewhere, they are not applicable or welcome here. Kindly do not force me to demonstrate my entire lexiconic arsenal. Thank you.

alphaous

Thank you monsieur, truce?

alphaous

Perhaps my overly formal demeanor was merely another dabbling into the wonderful world of sarcasm

alphaous

You're far too kind but you don't need to flatter me, I know you have already exhibited a level of silliness in this thread which I could never hope to touch in my lifetime.

I wake up to bugs, which are bad enough already. I don't need my notifs filled with people complaining about these (most of which are insignificant anyways and are fixed in a matter of an hour or so anyways) nonstop whenever cc screws something up.

Take a chill pill and be patient. If you hate chess.com, leave, and go to lichess. Last I checked, they don't have site updates or these bugs. At least not consistently.

Alpha sus, old chap, do not partake in these purposeless squabbles. You only serve to irritate yourself and provide sustenance to a ravenous seeker of attention. An overconfident being of lesser quality than he believes. One who is firm in the belief that this here virtual space can barely contain his unimaginable intelligence (evidenced by his decision to pursue our good friend martin across forums). Let it be known that this is an illusion. He has convinced himself of an intelligence that simply does not exist. After careful consideration, perhaps unimaginable may be correct. For "nothing" is difficult to imagine. If you imagine "nothing" does "nothing" not become something? However I shall set these philosophical queries for a later date in our usual place of gathering. Just know that there is indeed nothing where he believes the something of intelligence resides. An emptiness where grey matter should have existed. I must say, it is most impressive that he wishes to proudly hurl words of injury with slightly refined english, but little to no real point. Were his reasonings a meal that I might request as my final dinner before my execution for this murder by literary means, I would receive a vegetarian dish for it has no meat. Indeed it may not even be a meal for there is no substance. I would be starved as I walked toward the location where I shall breathe my last breath for taking the life of a man through letters and words.

what do you mean?

If people like you try to be more patient and just wait until cc fixes their bugs all of us would be a lot more happy.

Like I said, if you hate cc, then leave. If you don't, then you're inflicting these "painful experiences" onto yourself.
